As Time Goes By

Today is my birthday. I did absolutely nothing, and the amount of people who said happy birthday to me can be counted on my hands. I am starting to realize what life is coming to. Maybe birthdays aren't as special when you were younger, or maybe I myself am not making it fun. Today is a day where my growth is being noticed. I am now eighteen years old and slowly but surely changing into the women I soon will be. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, and to my boyfriend for always making me feel important on days I don't feel so great.
