Today feels like a dream I never knew I had. A day that passes by so quickly I can’t remember a thing. Maybe it’s supposed to feel rushed so that nothing can hurt us anymore. Through the silence I swear we speak. Days become years so quickly and I can’t catch up no matter how hard I try. Once upon a time I was so close, but now I’m only getting farther. A memory keeps me together and I never want to let it go. If a dream is all it takes to go back in time, I’d sleep every minute of the day. I hope today the world could pause and enjoy what’s left.
