Today

Today is a day I only wait for every year. It’s a day where I feel a special lump in my throat and a happy yet worried feeling. With age comes worry I guess. I am happy to say that today was the best birthday I could ever ask for. I feel so loved and thankful for the people around me. Months ago I panicked about an answer for this day, and here I am to say, Carla you don’t need to worry anymore. To another year of life and another year of friendship and mentorship.
